Liza studied at Edinburgh College of Art and worked as a designer before gaining a degree in Psychology, which led to her training first in marital therapy, and subsequently in Group Analysis and Jungian Analysis.

Alongside her private practice, Liza has 28 years of experience in the NHS, working in General Practice; and was part of a team of therapists providing family, group and individual therapy in a Mental Health Centre run by Social Services.

She has been working with couples, often with a co-therapist, for more than 30 years; and run groups since 1980 becoming a Training Group Analyst in 1991. Liza also works with individuals, both briefly and in longer-term psychoanalytic psychotherapy.

Fast response to crisis in individuals and couples, assessment of need, twice weekly analytic groups.
